Got plans for spring break? The Spring Break Law Experience and Advising Program (LEAP) is a three-day program specifically designed to help undergraduate students explore their future interest in pursuing a career in law.
Apply for this FREE program and learn more about law school and what it means to actually work as an attorney. Participants will have the opportunity to learn from law students, law school staff, practicing attorneys, and UW advisors about different types of law, legal careers, the law school application process, and develop tools to determine whether becoming a lawyer is the right path for you.
We are looking for 10-12 undergraduate students who are willing to commit a portion of their spring break THIS March to exploring law through trips to local firms and the Wisconsin Supreme Court, a visit to the UW Law School, and networking opportunities with staff and other UW alumni. SELECTIONS CONSIDERATIONS: The program is designed to not only expose students to the practice of law and help them prepare to apply to law school in the future, but also to increase equity and diversity in the legal field.
